About
Hey, you found me!
I’m A.C. Bradley. Writer. Producer. Mom. Altadena house rebuilder. I have opinions about story structure and grout color.
I specialize in genre storytelling and IP adaptations, in both live action and animation. From Shakespeare to superheroes to video games, I’ve tackled just about everything.
I won an Emmy for writing on Guillermo del Toro’s TROLLHUNTERS for Netflix. I was nominated for a Primetime Emmy for MARVEL’S WHAT IF…?, where I served as Head Writer and Executive Producer. And the series won the Critics Choice Award for Best Animated Series, but it was during COVID, so I found out via email.
I wrote and produced the critically acclaimed MS. MARVEL, or as I call it, “My So-Called Superhero Life.” I’ve also developed projects with Sony, Netflix, Paramount, and a bunch more.
Currently, I’m showrunning and executive producing the animated adaptation of the bestselling WARRIOR CATS book series, coming to Disney+.
The trick to every adaptation is love. You have to fall in love with the IP yourself, understand how that world and its fandom grew, and then that knowledge becomes the emotional hook. The IP lore matters, but the heart behind the lore matters even more.
When I’m not writing or rebuilding a house, my hobbies include fostering kittens, baking bread, and chaos gardening. Yes, somehow I have hobbies.
I’m repped by Gersh and Kaplan/Perrone.
Thanks for stopping by!
